BUHMANN is one of the leading suppliers of packing machines for the food production industry. Since 1980 Buhmann designs and manufactures machines predominantly with ELAU servo technology.

Beside cup-filling and end of line packing systems our company added more and more automation tasks of up- and downstream processes over the years.

These days BUHMANN sees itself as a solution provider for whole packaging lines with overall responsibility. Our engineers revert to a wide range of well-engineered components and applications and realize nearly every customer’s request.

The range of end-of-line packaging systems varies from wrap-around-packers, case packing systems and carton erectors to tray erectors, case erectors and carton closers. These machines can be expanded with our standard loading and grouping system to side-loaders, top loaders or case packers at any time.

Our filling machines start with small dosing units, single-lane rotary machines and reach up to cup filling and closing machines as a linear machine with own developed dosing systems and garnishing units.

A third field offers the automation of mainly manual labour tasks. This includes e.g., handling units for the stacking of packages, convergers for feeding in cartoner and gripper system for robots for the mixing of products or inserting in packages. In the same way buffer systems for decoupling of packaging machines as well as sorting systems for packages were developed out of these tasks. The connection of individual machines with conveyors and convergers or divergers belongs to it as de-nesting and nesting systems. Extremely flexible tasks are solved by using robots or picker systems.
